curiouslytrue.com is a static site. It has no accounts, no comments, no forms, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse.

Our publishing tool

Curiously True runs a private publishing tool that posts our own videos to our own accounts on YouTube and TikTok. It is used only by the Curiously True team and is not offered to other users. When we connect one of our accounts, the platform gives the tool an access token. We use it only to upload our videos (on TikTok: to send them to the account’s drafts or post them) and to read basic account information (name) and the public statistics of our own videos. Tokens are stored encrypted, are never shared or sold, and are deleted when we disconnect the account.

Data of other people

The tool does not collect, store or process data of viewers or other TikTok or YouTube users.
